Launched fall 2025, AggieX is Texas A&M’s latest student-led startup accelerator program. Hosted by the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship, AggieX is the student community of builders, creators, hackers and innovators who are ready to get busy building the future.

The 2026 AggieX Summer Accelerator

Texas A&M University’s inaugural student business summer accelerator program

Led by Aggies. Built for Aggies.

WHAT: 10-week intensive summer experience, built on a high-support/high-accountability model

WHEN:

  • Application Deadline: EXTENDED to Sunday, May 3
  • Acceptance Notifications: Friday, May 8
  • Launch Date: Tuesday, May 26
  • Final Demo Day: Friday, Aug. 7

WHO: Open to any current Texas A&M student with a product or business concept, who is ready to commit full-time focus on validating, building, piloting and pursuing their business model over the summer

What’s In It for Applicants?

  • 10-weeks of structured coaching, regular feedback & weekly deliverables toward meaningful business progress
  • Connection to an extensive network of mentors, advisors and investors providing deep market expertise
  • Connection to a student community of builders, creators, hackers and innovators serving as your peer accountability team
  • Access to a brand new McFerrin Center co-working and makerspace at the RELLIS campus  
  • AggieX Awards (non-dilutive cash) available to allow founders to focus on growing their business this summer

Applicants should be prepared to commit to full-time focus on their business throughout the 10-week acceleration program, with at least one team member participating in-person.
